According to data released by China's National Bureau of Statistics (NBS), the Chinese large-and-medium size industrial enterprises released the aggregate gross profits of RMB709.2 billion in the first two months of this year, soaring by 17.2% year on year. In the first two months of this year, the total gross profits contributed by the Chinese automobile manufacturing sector rose by 19.8% year on year; those realized by the electrical machinery and equipment manufacturing sector increased by 4.8% year on year. Meanwhile, the aggregate gross profits made by the ferrous metal smelting and processing industry surged by 18 times from the aggregate gross profit in the same period of last year.
